Francine McKenna, a reporter at MarketWatch.com, has left the Dow Jones publication after four-and-a-half years.
McKenna covered financial regulation and legislation with an eye on transparency at the SEC, PCAOB, FASB, CFTC, CFPB, FINRA and at hearings in the Senate and House.
She plans to stay in Washington and continue to teach in the American University MBA program and lecture to business and journalism programs. She is also working with some professors on research related to the KPMG/PCAOB scandal.
McKenna also has an agent interested in a book about the MF Global failure.
She previously wrote for Forbes and American Banker.
