Joshua Mann has been hired by the Houston Business Journal to cover energy.
Managing editor Emily Wilkinson writes, “Mann will cover all aspects of the dynamic energy industry in Houston — upstream, midstream, downstream and all the professional services and people behind them.
“Mann joins HBJ from Platts, where he spent 3.5 years reporting and writing breaking news on the energy industry. At Platts, he covered the midstream and heating oil markets.
“Mann is a graduate of the University of Houston, where he served as editor-in-chief of The Daily Cougar.
“‘Josh knows energy, thanks to his background with Platts and covering the beat for several years,’ said Giselle Greenwood, editor-in-chief of the HBJ. ‘We’re beyond excited to have Josh continue HBJ’s strong coverage of energy deals and the people behind them. Plus, he’s a native Houstonian, so he knows Houston’s history well.'”
