Making a business news TV show more interactive

Tuomo Kallio of Benzinga.com profiles Matt Miller, who hosts “Bloomberg Rewind” on Bloomberg Television weeknights at 8 p.m.

Kallio writes, “The host, Matt Miller, has extensive experience in reporting the European news. The carefully chosen guests provide helpful insight in their area of expertise keeping traders up-to-date on the importance of macro and stock specific news.

“Miller, who is also reporting from the New York Stock Exchange, spoke to Benzinga about his show and the more interactive approach he wants to take in the future. He ensured that the global focus will continue after the European crisis is over, as the current time slot makes it important to cover the international news for traders who are just waking up to trade the Asian and European markets.

“Going forward, Miller said he wants to take Bloomberg Rewind online and make it interactive by utilizing Twitter and email. This would make the show more fun and bring it more prominently to the digital era, where Miller expects the TV industry to be heading.”
