Longtime business journalist Seth Lubove has left Bloomberg News and joined the Los Angeles office of Sitrick & Co., a well-known public relations firm.
Lubove, who most recently served as a reporter on the billionaires team at Bloomberg News, joins Sitrick after spending more than seven years as a reporter, magazine writer and bureau chief at Bloomberg News, where he authored six cover stories for Markets magazine, directed breaking news coverage for Southern California, and uncovered previously unknown billionaires.

He joined Bloomberg in 2006 after 16 years at Forbes, where he served as Los Angeles bureau chief, deputy bureau chief, associate editor and staff writer. Prior to Bloomberg and Forbes, Lubove was a staff writer at Times Publishing Co.’s Florida Trend magazine, a staff reporter in the Pittsburgh bureau of The Wall Street Journal, and a business reporter at The Miami Herald. A native of Pittsburgh, Lubove has a B.A. in English from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University.
“When I decided to leave journalism, there was only one firm I considered,” said Lubove in a statement. “I am very excited to join Sitrick, and I look forward to assisting our clients achieve their strategic communications goals.”
