Haley Cawthon has joined the reporting staff at Louisville Business First.
Editor Lisa Benson writes, “Cawthon comes to Louisville from Kokomo, Ind., where she served as features editor at the Kokomo Tribune, a daily metro newspaper, for the past two years. Prior to that role, she was chief staff writer and photographer for the Mount Carmel Register in Mount Carmel, Ill. She began her career at the Elkhart (Ind.) Truth in 2016 as copy editor and page designer.
“At Business First, she’ll cover the region’s technology and entrepreneurial scene as well as the retail and restaurant industries. Her coverage will range from startup businesses to some of Louisville’s largest public companies, including Yum Brands Inc., Papa John’s International Inc. and Texas Roadhouse Inc.
“Cawthon received a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from Indiana University’s School of Journalism in Bloomington.”
