Taylor Lorenz will be joining The Washington Post as a tech columnist, based in Los Angeles. However, she will be making frequent trips to the Post´s Washington D.C. newsroom.
She begins Mar. 7.
Currently, she is a technology reporter at The New York Times, where she writes about internet culture and the business of online creators for the Business section. Prior to joining the Times, she was a technology and culture writer at The Atlantic.
She was also a 2019 Knight Visiting Nieman Fellow at Harvard University.
Her first book, “Extremely Online: Gen Z, the Rise of Online Creators and the Selling of a New American Dream,” will be published by Simon & Schuster in 2023.
Lorenz is a University of Colorado graduate.
