UCLA Anderson School of Management will announce the 2006 finalists of the Gerald Loeb Awards for Distinguished Business and Financial Journalism via a video link on Monday beginning at noon Eastern Time.
Judy D. Olian, dean of UCLA Anderson School of Management and chairman of the G. and R. Loeb Foundation, will announce this year’s finalists in the print and broadcast competition categories, including the new category for business books. This year’s finalists were chosen from among a record 395 entries.
The recipients of the 2006 Loeb Awards career honors, the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Lawrence Minard Editor Award, will also be revealed.
The Loeb Awards, the most prestigious awards in business journalism, honor writers, editors and producers who make significant contributions to the understanding of business, finance and the economy.
