Lockwood departs Reuters for The Washington Post

Beatrix Lockwood

Beatrix Lockwood is joining The Washington Post opinions as an operations editor.

She comes from Reuters, where she was a community engagement editor working on audience development, analytics and social media strategy.

She begins Oct. 1.

She has also worked in engagement and newsletter roles at The Marshall Project and The Trace. She was also an editor at ThoughtCo, DotDash’s education vertical.

Lockwood has a master’s degree from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
