Little Rock paper hires new transportation reporter

Robbie Neiswanger, a sports reporter covering the Arkansas Razorbacks for Stephens Media, has been hired by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette to cover transportation.

A story on Arkansas Business states, “Neiswanger will replace staff writer Chris Bahn, who shifted beats late last year to cover Wal-Mart when reporter Cyd King moved to Little Rock. King began covering development in downtown Little Rock after the departure of Jack Weatherly last fall.

“Neiswanger’s beat will be transportation and he starts Friday, said Rachel Chaney, the newspaper’s business editor.

“Neiswanger was untouched by several rounds of layoffs at Stephens Media last year, which cut dozens of reporters, editors and printing staff.”
