Britain Eakin, a reporter for the Courthouse News Service, has been hired by Law360 to cover intellectual property.
She has been with Courthouse News since July 2015 as a general assignment reporter covering civil cases in the U.S. District Court, the Supreme Court, congressional hearings and the Guantánamo Bay detention center.
She has reported on the Syrian refugee crisis, the Islamic State group and the Guantánamo parole board hearings at the Pentagon.
She was also a data editor at the Arizona Sonora News.
Eakin holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a master’s degree from the University of Arizona.
