A story on its website states, “Lang, who will end her tenure on Friday, is leaving for a new television opportunity and to write a new book, according to a statement from CBC general manager and editor in chief Jennifer McGuire.
“Business journalist Bruce Sellery will host the show for the next two weeks.
“Lang joined CBC News in 2009 to launch The Lang & O’Leary Exchange with Kevin O’Leary, and also served as a senior business correspondent for The National.
“Previously, the veteran business journalist hosted Squeezeplay for Business News Network and also worked for the Globe and Mail, Financial Post and CNN.”
