James Cutchin, who covers banking and finance at the Los Angeles Business Journal, is leaving for a job covering business for the Desert Sun in Palm Springs.
His last day at the Business Journal is Wednesday. He will start at the Desert Sun by the end of the month.
Cutchin has been at the Business Journal since October 2019. He previously was a business reporting fellow at the Los Angeles Times.
Cutchin holds a master’s degree from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi. Before journalism, he worked for PwC in Hong Kong.
