Garrett Reim joins the Los Angeles Business Journal on Monday as Tech Journal editor/reporter.
He will produce a daily email newsletter about technology companies, mainly in the so-called Silicon Beach area of Los Angeles. Garrett had covered tech for BuiltinLA.com. He has a bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University.
Karen Jordan recently joined the Business Journal as web editor/reporter. She produces daily email newsletters. She had been a freelance writer in Los Angeles and before that had been an associate editor at Disney Interactive.
In the past Jordan was a staff writer at The Tennessean in Nashville, her hometown. Jordan is a cum laude graduate of Wellesley College and has a Master’s Degree in Communications from Stanford University.
Hannah Miet, who had been the web editor/reporter for the Business Journal, has become the commercial real estate writer for the newspaper. She has been with Business Journal since mid 2014.
