Komiya joins Reuters as Tokyo bureau reporter

Kantaro Komiya

Kantaro Komiya has joined Reuters Tokyo bureau as a reporter on the Japan economic policy beat.

He joins from The Associated Press, where he was a global news intern. He has also freelanced for Al Jazeera English, Quartz and CNC3 TV among others. He was also an editorial intern at Rest of World.

Komiya has also interned at Barron’s, Bloomberg and The Japan Times.

Komiya is a graduate of DePauw University.
