James Kleimann has been promoted to managing editor at HousingWire.
He has been mortgage editor for the past four months. Before that, he was with The Real Deal, joining as deputy web editor. Later on, he held the post of managing web editor, leading a team of 20 reporters, producers, digital artists and editors on the real estate beat among other tasks.
He has also worked as a supervising reporter at NJ.com and served as reporter, editor, photographer, videographer, social media manager for two AOL-Patch sites in Bergen County, New Jersey. Additionally, he also worked as a freelancer at journalism publications in New Jersey.
Kleimann is a graduate of Champlain College.
