James Kleimann has joined HousingWire as a mortgage editor.
For the past 5 years, Kleimann was with The Real Deal, joining as deputy web editor. Later on, he held the post of managing web editor, leading a team of 20 reporters, producers, digital artists and editors on the real estate beat among other tasks.
He has also worked as a supervising reporter at NJ.com and served as reporter, editor, photographer, videographer, social media manager for two AOL-Patch sites in Bergen County, New Jersey. Additionally, he also worked as a freelancer at journalism publications in New Jersey.
Kleimann is a graduate of Champlain College.
