Georgia Frances King has been promoted to ideas editor at Quartz.
“I’ll be working with the world’s biggest thinkers’ boldest ideas for the future of the global economy,” wrote King on Twitter. “More details coming soon, but I’m very excited for this next stage in life’s little adventure.”
King has been deputy ideas editor and a technology and design editor.
She has led international teams of award-winning journalists and has spoken at the UN, Creative Mornings, and the Future of Storytelling, among others.
Formerly the editor of the award-winning design magazine Kinfolk, she has fused her background in lifestyle journalism with her passion for emerging technology.
King has focused on tech- and design-related pieces from a human-interest angle and also occasionally writes for Quartz on an array of subjects.
