Khosla, editor at Fast Company Digital, leaves to become professor

Anjali Khosla

Anjali Khosla, editor of Fast Company Digital, is leaving the magazine to become an assistant professor at The New School in the Journalism + Design program.

At Fast Company, Khosla wrote features, news articles, and essays for print and online since 2012. In 2014, she and her colleagues won ASME’s Magazine of the Year award.

Khosla helped launch the publication’s digital newsroom where she served as digital editor, built a West Coast bureau, and established the company’s audience development strategies.

Before Fast Company, she worked at the New York Daily News.

She has been a featured speaker at events such as the Global Editor’s Network Summit and the Online News Association Conference, taught workshops on behalf of the Society for Professional Journalists, judged award submissions for The Deadline Club, and evaluated grant applications for the Knight Foundation in Miami.

Khosla holds master’s degrees from the University of Massachusetts and New York University.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
