Ketchum, managing editor, leaves Afrotech

John Ketchum

John Ketchum is stepping down from his role as managing editor of Afrotech at Blavity Inc. He has worked in this role since August 2018. Ketchum was the deputy editor of SB Nation, a sports blogging network owned by Vox Media, prior to his time at Afrotech.

Ketchum also worked as an associate producer at CNN from November 2015 to June 2017.  He also worked as an assistant editor for NPR’s Morning Edition from May 2014 to March 2015, as well. Ketchum graduated from Central Michigan University in 2011.
