KC Star assistant business editor among staffers laid off

Donna Vestal, an assistant business editor at the Kansas City Star, is among the journalists who have lost their jobs at the paper due to layoffs on Wednesday.

Bottom Line Communications reports, “The highly respected Vestal had been reduced to part-time status in March 2009.
