Chris Kay, a journalist who has been with Bloomberg for more than 10 years, will be returning to South Asia from London to report all things pandemic, health and business for Bloomberg’s Asia team.
Kay held the post of senior editor. He joined Bloomberg in 2010 as a reporter covering health care, emerging markets, commodities and general news. Then, he became Nigeria reporter and then Nigeria bureau chief where he coordinated and was responsible for Nigeria news and enterprise coverage among other tasks.
He has also served as Pakistan and Afghanistan bureau chief, managing print news and enterprise coverage from Pakistan and Afghanistan, working with reporters, editors and photographers across Karachi, Islamabad and Kabul among performing other duties.
Kay has also worked as a news and features reporter at African Laughter.
Kay is a B.A. in English literature from University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and a M.A. in newspaper journalism from City University London.
