Kate Herman Wood will be stepping down as president and publisher of the Nashville Business Journal.
She will be starting her own company.
Under her leadership, the Nashville Business Journal has received six Eagle Awards. Wood will be starting her own business consulting and coaching company by the name of K8 Co.
Wood has been president and publisher at the publication for 13 years. Wood’s last day with the Nashville Business Journal will be August 9th, and the company is currently searching for a successor.
She has worked with the Nashville Business Journal’s parent company, American City Business Journals, for 24 years.
She graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
