Bob Rose, the print editor of The Wall Street Journal, sent out the following announcement on Wednesday:

I’m pleased to announce that Eduardo Kaplan will oversee The Wall Street Journal’s Business & Finance section.
Eduardo will work closely with fellow Section B editor Jim Winston to produce a concise and compelling package of markets and corporate stories for the U.S. print editions. Together with Katherine Meyer, U.S. section editor, and Margaret deStreel, World section editor, Eduardo and Jim will work closely with digital, content and visuals editors, along with art directors, to put together daily sections with an attractive mix of stories, graphics and photos.
Eduardo joined Dow Jones in 1996 and most recently he has been senior print section editor and deputy world editor at the Journal. He has also served in a number of editing and managerial roles for newswires, digital and print. Please welcome him to this new challenge.
