BridgeTower Media, which operates business news publications such as NJBiz.com, has hired Kamilah A’Vant as its director of diversity programs.
In this role, she will continue to build the organization’s diversity and inclusion events, content and overall strategy, as well as its Color Magazine brand.
A’Vant will be a key part of BrigeTower’s diversity and inclusion growth strategy, which has been heavily under way over the last several years.
The company has hosted more than 20 conferences and awards programs for women in business and will continue to cater to the demand for these events under A’Vant’s leadership.
A’Vant’s will be based in Boston. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Rhode Island College and Master of Science degree in management from the University of Maryland.
