Kamdar joins Reuters as correspondent

Bansari Kamdar

Reuters has hired Bansari Kamdar as a correspondent in Bangalore.

She is also the managing editor and founder of Newspaperwali, a biweekly newsletter on gender and policy across South Asia. She is also a guest author at The Diplomat.

Kamdar also freelances for The Boston Globe, the Conversation, World Politics Review, Huffington Post, CNN-News18, The Diplomat, Quint, The Wire, Daily News, and other publications. She is also a communications assistant at Harvard’s Center for International Development.

She was also a business analyst at JPMorgan Chase.

Kamdar has a bachelor’s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a master’s degree from Boston University.
