Kaiser Health News has hired Rae Ellen Bichell as a reporter on its Mountain States team.
Bichell has been a reporter for KUNC and The Colorado Sound since January 2018, covering the region for public radio stations in Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and Idaho as part of the Mountain West News Bureau.
She also worked as a science reporter for NPR in Washington for four years.
Bichell holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University in physical and biological anthropology.
