Jim Cramer, at a theater near you

The Iron Man movie that launched this weekend and had more than $100 million in gross receipts as a business journalism angle — “Mad Money” host Jim Cramer makes a cameo.

In the movie, Tony Stark (Iron Man), played by Robert Downey Jr., is the CEO of Stark Industries. He’s essentially an arms dealer, selling high-tech weaponry to the military. He’s kidnapped while in Middle East.

Stark escapes and comes back to announce that he’s taking Stark Industries out of that business and into something else.

In the next scene, Gwyneth Paltrow’s character is watching CNBC’s “Mad Money” to get Cramer’s take on Stark Industries’ stock, which dropped more than 50 points on the news.

It’s a great scene with Cramer pontificating on the stock. Of course, I had to then explain to my kids who this guy was, and why he yells all the time.
