Bloomberg Opinion has hired Lisa Jarvis to cover the pharmaceutical industry, along with some science.
She will start Jan. 10.
She joins from Chemical & Engineering News, where she has worked for over 15 years, recently as executive editor of life sciences. Before that, she served as deputy executive editor for business. She was also a senior correspondent covering the science and business of discovering new drugs at the company.
She has also served as a senior editor and as a pharmaceuticals reporter and managing editor at Chemical Market Reporter, a weekly trade magazine focused on the chemical industry.
Jarvis graduated from Bard College.
