Jalopnik hires Gordon to cover intersection of transportation and technology

Auto industry site Jalopnik has hired Aaron W. Gordon to be a senior reporter.

Gordon will cover the intersection of transportation, technology, and the future of how we get around.

“It’s an incredible time to be reporting on this and I can’t wait to get started,” said Gordon on Twitter.

Gordon has covered New York City transportation for The Village Voice and now contributes to Gothamist, CityLab, Curbed NY, and other publications.

He has also contributed to Huffington, Post, Slate, The Outline, Playboy, Southwest Magazine, Deadspin, The Awl, Sports on Earth, NewYorker.com, and Pacific Standard

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
