Dixon has been with the paper since June 2003. He primarily covers the government beats at the beaches and also writes for the business section.
Before joining the Times-Union, he was a correspondent for the Orlando Sentinel and a government and general assignment reporting for Vero Beach Press Journal, St. Lucie News and Stuart News, all in Florida.
Dixon has also been teaching philosophy as an adjunct at Jacksonville University.

Without Mr. Bull's business notes in the Sunday edition of the Times-Union, any further purchase of the Sunday paper is a waste of money.
