Rishi Iyengar, the India editor for CNN Business in New Delhi, tasked with covering the country’s rapidly growing economy and the companies looking to cash in on it, is moving to the San Francisco bureau to join the tech team.
Before joining CNN, he spent two years at Time magazine in Hong Kong, where he covered several stories around Asia including the rise of the Afghanistan cricket team and the war on drugs in the Philippines.
Iyengar grew up in Pune, India and is a graduate of the Columbia Journalism School.
