Interim biz editor at Appleton, Wis., newspaper

Amy Pelishek, The Post-Crescent’s assistant managing editor, was named Wednesday to the additional role of interim business editor.

Pelishek replaces MaryBeth Matzek, who left the newspaper. Pelishek will continue as The P-C’s lead local news editor as the newspaper recruits a full-time replacement for business editor.

A native of Denmark, Wis., Pelishek has served as assistant managing editor since 2002. She has also been The P-C’s news editor and weekend editor. She joined The P-C in 1990.
