Anjana Pawa has joined Insider as a growth editor.

She comes from Gold Health Strategies Inc., where she was a data consultant focusing on New York metropolitan area health care market.
She has also worked freelance and was a public health fellow at PRAB Inc. Her writing frequently explores the intersection of politics and culture with a strong focus on Asian pop culture and music. Pawa has written for various outlets including Teen Vogue and tmrw magazine.
In addition, she was a health policy intern at Asian Services In Action Inc. and holds a master’s degree in public health from Rutgers University – New Brunswick.
