Samantha Bergeson has joined IndieWire as a news editor.
Previously, she was a shows and TV writer for E! Online, which focuses on entertainment and celebrity news at NBCUniversal. She was also a freelance contributor to POPSUGAR.
She was also an intern and has worked freelance for TV Guide magazine. Additionally, she has interned at Modern Luxury and Marie Claire. She has also written for Her Campus Media and Embarcadero Media, which has headquarters in Palo Alto, California.
Bergeson has a B.A. in journalism and cinema studies from New York University.
