The Indianapolis Business Journal is moving reporter Sammi Quinn to a new beat covering Indianapolis city government and has hired Kurt Christian to cover Quinn’s beat, called North of 96th.
Quinn grew up in Northwest Indiana and graduated from Franklin College in 2013, opting then to make central Indiana her home.
She was a reporter for papers in Portland and Greenfield before landing a job at IBJ in 2018. She’s covered everything from the cops beat to city and county government in communities east of Indianapolis and is thrilled to be working in the northern suburbs.
Christian has been a reporter for the Bloomington Herald-Times for the last four-and-a-half years, covering city government, economic development and police.
He’s a graduate of Indiana University.
