Jeremy Quittner, a senior staff writer at Inc. magazine since 2012, has been hired by Fortune.
He’ll be a senior writer for Fortune’s Venture vertical on its website, which is covering entrepreneurs and launched in February.
Quittner previously wrote on technology for both American Banker and Bank Technology News, specializing in alternative payments, social media, security and online banking.
He also previously worked for BusinessWeek, covering small business and entrepreneurship. Quittner’s byline can also be found in back issues of Barron’s, Crain’s New York Business, The New York Post and the now-defunct Gourmet magazine, among other publications.
He is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
