The Financial Times has promoted Kana Inagaki to the post of Tokyo bureau chief.
Recently, she served as Tokyo correspondent.
Previously, Inagaki was covering tech in Tokyo for The Wall Street Journal. She has also covered the foreign exchange and stock markets as a business reporter for Kyodo News. She has also worked as an editorial assistant at The Associated Press.
