Imus headed for Fox Biz Network?

Rick Ellis of AllYourTV.com reports that controversial radio show host Don Imus may be taking his show to the Fox Business Network.

Ellis reports, “Several sources close to the show claim ‘Imus In The Morning’ is close to a deal which would move the show to the Fox Business Network. According to these sources, RFD-TV is looking to drop the show due to financial problems at the network. Fox Business Network has reportedly shown strong interest in the show, and it could make the move as early as September 1.

“If the move does take place, it would be considered a win for both parties. For Imus, the move will offer the chance for his show to get a promotional boost that RFD-TV simply can’t match. And for the ratings-challenged Fox Business Network, an ‘Imus In The Morning’ simulcast would offer the chance to tempt reticent viewers into giving the channel another look.

“The business channel currently airs the three-hour live program ‘Money In The Morning’ starring Jenna Lee and Connell McShane in the early morning timeslot.”
