Alx Stevens has been hired as the managing editor of Idaho Business Review.
A story on its website states, “She enters the position after freelance writing news articles and special publication pieces for Idaho Business Review during the past two years. Some of her coverage includes startup ventures, education and research matters, small and large local business developments and projects and industry trends and questions.
“‘I am so excited to continue serving Idaho Business Review readers, and the greater community, in this new role,’ Stevens said. ‘Sharon Fisher has been a great role model and valuable mentor, and I look forward to continuing working with Idaho Business Review’s dedicated team to share what’s happening in Idaho’s expansive business and entrepreneurship sector.’
“COVID-19 inspired Stevens to expand her work to include connecting community members with new or ongoing resources, and to help document experiences of Idahoans during this challenging time. She is in her seventh year as an Idaho-based journalist, and her 11th year in the state. She intends to bring her diverse experience in industry and longstanding appreciation of Idaho into her work.”
