Hutson joins Chicago Biz Journal as reporter

Wendell Hutson

Chicago Business Journal has hired Wendell Hutson as a reporter, covering commercial real estate and economic development.

Recently, he was a reporter at Crain’s Chicago Business. He was also a senior contributing writer at Chicago Citizen Newspaper Group and a staff reporter at DNAinfo.com Chicago. He has also reported for the Chicago Defender and the Illinois Real Estate Journal.

He was also a staff reporter at Pensions & Investments and a sports editing assistant at Chicago Tribune Media Group.

Hutson has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Columbia College Chicago.
