Business reporter Ben Walsh was among the journalists laid off Wednesday by The Huffington Post.
Walsh, who covered money and finance, joined Huffington Post in September 2014.
For the previous three years, Walsh served as online editor and business writer at Reuters. He worked on Reuters’ “Counterparties,” a product focused on bringing together the best business, finance and economics writing on the web, and covered the 2014 World Cup from Rio.
Previously, Walsh covered Wall Street and banking for Business Insider, and worked at Goldman Sachs for five years in the Environmental Markets Group, Investor Marketing Group and in the Executive Office.
He is a University of Chicago graduate.
Some personal news: I was laid off from HuffPost today. I’m so proud of the work I’ve done and the people I’ve worked with. (1/2)
