Tom Wilson is back in London as the Financial Times’ Middle East and Africa news editor.
Prior to moving to London, he was with the Financial Times in Africa, according to his tweet. With his new position, he will still be involved in the coverage of everything from Erdogan to Saudi Aramco to U.S.-Iran relations.
Previously, Wilson has served as reporter and foreign correspondent at Bloomberg for three years in Africa and London. He was also director intelligence and analysis and head of strategy advisory services at AfricaPractice.
Additionally, he served as senior Africa analyst at Control Risks.
Wilson is a graduate of University of Nottingham with B.A. in history.
