Rachel Cohrs will be leaving Inside Health Policy and joining Modern Healthcare as its DC politics and policy reporter from next week.
She will be overseeing and covering drug pricing and important issues related to hospitals, providers and insurers.
Previously, she has served as the Washington correspondent at The Dallas Morning News and as a freelance reporter. She also worked as Dow Jones news fund digital media intern at Austin American-Statesman.
Additionally, she has served as a news editor and a Capitol Bureau intern at USC Annenberg Media and The Sacramento Bee respectively. She also worked as an editorial intern at Rochester Post-Bulletin.
Cohrs has a B.A. in print and digital journalism, minor law and public policy from the University of Southern California.
