Wired hires Chokkattu as senior associate editor

Former Digital Trends mobile and wearables editor Julian Chokkattu will be leaving the company on Thursday.

He will be moving to Wired as its senior associate editor for reviews, Chokkattu tweets.

Prior to working at Digital Trends, Chokkattu served as page producer at The Star-Ledger. He also worked as an intern and as a news editor at TechCrunch and Targum Publishing Co. respectively.

Additionally, he also worked at The Access Group as copy intern.

Chokkattu has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies and English from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick.
