Indianapolis Star taps government/biz reporter Briggs as metro columnist

James Briggs will be serving as metro columnist at The Indianapolis Star.

Previously, he had been working as a government and business reporter at The Star.

Briggs has also served as a deputy managing editor, associate editor and reporter at the Baltimore Business Journal. He has also worked as a reporter for The Daily Herald. Additionally, he has worked as a sports writer for The Oakland Press and as a reporter for both Ann Arbor News and Bay City Times.

Briggs has a Bachelor’s in communications from Eastern Michigan University.
