Giselle Greenwood has been named the managing editor at the Houston Business Journal, an American City Business Journals publication.
Olivia Pulsinelli of the paper writes, “She replaces Greg Barr, who is now the managing editor of the Austin Business Journal, an affiliated publication.
“Greenwood is a former assistant managing editor and technology/finance reporter for the Austin Business Journal.
“She has lived in Houston the past five years and most recently served as marketing communications manager at Insperity Inc., where she managed a team of writers focused on business-to-business communications. She also previously worked as a reporter for Dow Jones VentureWire in New York and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a bachelor of journalism degree.
“‘We’re excited to welcome Giselle to the Houston Business Journal,’ said Editor in Chief B. Candace Beeke. ‘Her enthusiasm and experience will be an asset as we continue our mission of breaking news on houstonbusinessjournal.com and providing our readers information in the weekly edition that helps grow their businesses.'”
