Houston Biz Journal names new managing editor, new AME

The Houston Business Journal has named Jonathan Adams as its new managing editor and Olivia Pulsinelli as its new assistant managing editor.

A story on its website states, “Adams formerly served as HBJ’s associate editor, and Pulsinelli served as HBJ’s senior web editor.

“Prior to joining the HBJ, Adams worked at the regional design center at Lee Enterprises as a page designer. There, he edited, designed and coordinated with 10 papers across the nation. Prior to that, he was sports editor, reporter and photographer at the Williamson County Sun in Georgetown, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Journalism degree at Texas A&M University — Kingsville.

“Pulsinelli joined the Houston Business Journal in 2012 as web producer and was later promoted to senior digital editor. Prior to joining HBJ, Pulsinelli was at Business Review West Michigan, where she covered everything from commercial real estate to technology. She graduated from the University of Missouri—Columbia with a Bachelor of Journalism.”
