Joe Martin has been hired as the new health care and technology reporter at the Houston Business Journal.
Candace Beeke, editor of the paper, writes, “Martin comes from Phoenix, where he worked at the Phoenix Business Journal, an affiliated publication. He is a graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and served as editor in chief of the Downtown Devil publication.
“‘We’re excited to welcome Joe to our city and our newsroom,’ Editor in Chief B. Candace Beeke said. ‘Houston’s health care and tech sectors are booming, and there’s a lot of news for him to break there.’
“‘I’m excited to join the staff at the Houston Business Journal. This city is full of vibrance, culture and an expansive business climate,’ Martin said.”
