HousingWire promoted Wheeler to editor in chief

Sarah Wheeler has been promoted to editor in chief of HousingWire.

Diego Sanchez of HousingWire reports, “Wheeler joined HousingWire in 2013 as content editor and was promoted to magazine editor in 2015. As editor of HousingWire Magazine, Wheeler’s team was awarded numerous accolades from several respected business journalism associations, most notably recognized as a 2017 Eddie finalist for best B-to-B full issue in Banking/Business/Finance by Folio. Wheeler was also recognized by Folio as a Director-Level Doer in 2016 for her rare ability to execute on multiple content strategies.

“In 2017, Wheeler was promoted to managing editor and launched HW Content Solutions, HousingWire’s brand journalism and content marketing business. Under her leadership, HW Content Solutions has doubled in size and Wheeler has gained unparalleled knowledge of mortgage and real estate technology and the access to the leaders building the future of the housing economy.

“Prior to joining HousingWire, Wheeler was a copy editor at RAPP and The Richards Group.

“Concurrent with Wheeler’s promotion, HousingWire is promoting Brena Nath to managing editor of HW+ and Kelsey Ramirez to editor of HW Magazine.”
