His last day on the beat is Wednesday.
Hoffman has been with Agence France-Presse since 2017 and previously covered sports and the technology beat. He also has been a correspondent for France 24.
Hoffman holds a master’s degree in journalism from New York University and a master’s from Sciences Po in Paris.
